Finding your best health...naturally!
Why go to a Chiropractor?
Most often, people initially seek out a Chiropractor because they have experienced some kind of setback physically, that has resulted in pain, reduced movement or an inability to go about their normal activities. Either they have lifted something incorrectly, moved in a particular way that caused pain or had a bingle during sports or exercise. There are also people who have just developed uncomfortable symptoms over time, not really knowing what has gone wrong.
Often these pain causing incidents are actually "the straw that broke the camels back" and the underlying problem is actually a body trying to function and deal with our every day stresses, while being unbalanced and in a weakend position. Over time, this musculoskeletal imbalance can contribute to compensations and over use syndromes.
Add in emotional and chemical stress and you have a body that just gives up!
Symptoms such as pain, headaches, weakness, pins & needles, dizziness and generally feeling off could all indicate a spinal imbalance.
Chiropractic is a health care discipline based on the scientific premise that the body is a self-regulating, self-healing organism. These important functions are controlled by the brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves of the body.
Chiropractic care aims to restore mobility and the good function to your musculoskeletal & nervous systems.
Chiropractic has been a part of Leannes life since she was a small child. Competing in national level equestrian events, it was essential to be fit, strong and functioning at her best. As part of the strict training regime to complement competative riding, Leanne had regular chiropractic adjustments along side acupuncture, strength and cardio training and stretching/yoga.
This commitment to health and fitness has stayed with Leanne her whole life and the desire to be able to help others find their best health and fitness is her goal.
Leanne sees wellness as a wholistic endevour and aims to provide people with the information and the physical foundations required to take control of their own health and work towards a strong, healthy, happy, fit life!
Leanne has spent years contributing to the chiropractic community, including teaching the students in the final year of Masters at Macquarie University as Associate Clinic Supervisor as well as holding the position of Secretary on the board of directors for the Chiropractors' Association of Australia (NSW).
